Venues

We are so so  lucky to cater weddings in many truly beautiful venues and locations across Scotland. There is a uniqueness in each.

The Byre at Inchyra - Perthshire - beautiful byre - natural wood and stone. Beautiful grounds. Wonderful owners. You can genuinely create whatever you like within the incredibly flexible and beautiful space. I love Inchyra and we have a dedicated team who cater and style (if you would like) our weddings there. Beautiful walled garden with an apple aisle.

Balbegno Castle - Between Dundee and Aberdeen a stunning little castle - with fabulous modern/vintage interior (owned and designed by Pedlar founders Charlie and Caroline Gladstone). Balbegno Castle sits in the shadow of The Highlands, in the centre of thousands and thousands of acres of undisturbed wilderness. Guests have exclusive access* to Fasque Lake, an eight hectare (that’s large) ornamental lake with three islands and a rowing boat. The lake offers fishing for trout and endless opportunities for camping, walking and mucking about. The Grand Hall (it's not huge) made me cry the very first time I walked in. Beautiful ceilings and a real sense of awesomeness.
There is nothing stuffy at all about Balbegno Castle. The kind of place you can kick of your shoes and relax round the huge kitchen table or sink into squishy sofas. Fabulous front lawn where you can put up a marquee/tipi. Love this little castle. - Take a look at one of our weddings there:

Aultmore House   Cairngorm National Park. Stunning mansion house overlooking mountains and glens

Myres Castle - Auchtermuchty/Falkland. New venue for 2015, amazing oak framed 'barnquee'. Beautiful grounds. Cutting garden

Secret Log Cabin  East Lothian - Sits high on a cliff overlooking bass rock. Add tipis.

Dairsie Castle        Fife

Pollockshields Burgh Hall - my favourite Glasgow Venue - stunning stained glass windows. Relatively inexpensive. Beautiful park to the back.

Hill of Tarvit Mansion House  Near Cupar - beautiful national trust property

Colzium House - Lanarkshire - Lovely and inexpensive venue just outside Kilsyth

Pratis Farm - no dedicated website yet. A bit of a hidden treasure of a barn - very very rustic and big. But relaxed and with fabulous views across the River Forth to Bass Rock. (The barn sits above Largo and is en route to Cupar). Nobody knows it's there. Go take a peek.

Errol Park - Errol - Perthshire. Round byre - upstairs/downstairs. Extensive grounds. Very very cool vibe - circular courtyard, gentlemen's rooms of the circular barn downstairs and very good dedicated bar space. Incredibly laid back - again a space where you can create something fabulous. Typically you have entry the week before. They provide tables and chairs, but there is no dedicated kitchen so kitchen equipment need to be hired in.
